good food at a reasonable price in a homey place. the soft tofu stews come out boiling hot with an egg slowly cooking inside. i got medium spice which wasn’t very strong. the mandu were very soft. all around good korean comfort food
We had a delicious meal here in this pleasant comfortable space. The banchan was a little bland but the egg was super delicious. Service was prompt. I’d definitely go back.
the food is very solid, especially hot dishes like soondubu and seolleongtang!! the banchan has a good variety and everyone gets a free steamed egg which was delicious. the staffs were also very attentive and sweet attending to our big group:)
Great service and food. Staff is very attentive. Food is very delicious! Best wings in Chinatown! Overall always a great experience at Tofu Tofu.
Ate at Tofu Tofu on Christmas night. The staff were all friendly, gracious, and attentive. The cabbage kimchi that came out with the banchans was excellent, and my server brought a complimentary dish of steamed eggs that was just perfect...the texture of a soufflé. My tdolsot bibimbap with bulgogi was delicious, and the complimentary hot green tea definitely hit the spot. Great spot.
Went to Tofu Tofu on a whim and it was so AMAZING. Firstly, they start you off with some hot tea and then come the Banchan which was to die for. The kimchi was perfect- crisp and sweet with a taste of what I think may have been plum/pear. My gf loved the mac salad- and couldn’t stop raving about how good it was. The egg was perfectly cooked, soft and pipping hot. Nothing more I could ask for. For my meal- we started with Dukboki, which was the best I’ve ever had. For my main meal I tried the kimchi and beef soondubu- a dish I have not had before but I’m so happy I tried. The flavor was so deep- every bite better than the one prior. The size was perfect, leaving me full but not overly stuffed. Next time I would definitely get it more spicy because I believe I did mild! Overall such an amazing experience, I want to con vac to try more of their menu.
It can get quite busy here but the food is amazing. A bit loud sometimes but tolerable. I recommend the fried chicken, it's absolutely perfect.
this is my go to spot. I love their ban chan (side dishes) especially the macaroni salad and bean sprouts. You can taste it housemade. Always get their Korean fried chicken is soooo good and worth it. Me and my bf would always order kimchi cheese fried rice, Korean fried chicken and gamjatang. Everything was so good, big portions and affordable. Service is really nice and outgoing. Come check it out!!
